Venkat Sharma, Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Sharma has founded three successful IT companies in the past 15 years. Most recently, Mr. Sharma was the founder of Acorn Information Services, Inc., a company that provided database marketing and technology solutions, primarily to the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Sharma sold Acorn Information Services to a larger company, Digital Lighthouse, and helped manage the combined entity through the IPO process. Prior to his entrepreneurial experience, Mr. Sharma worked for IBM as a consultant developing operating system software, and for 3M as a manager of online services for one of 3M’s subsidiaries in Connecticut.

 

Bob Attanasio, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Attanasio has over 20 years of financial and operational experience in the Voice Processing and Medical Documentation industry.  During his time with Dictaphone Corporation, Mr. Attanasio was part of the team that created the flagship Healthcare Division. He also held positions in the Communications Recording Systems Division as Financial Director, and the Commercial Voice Processing Division as General Manager.  In the Healthcare Division, Mr. Attanasio served as Vice President of Finance as well as Vice President of Operations.  He also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and in managing organizational change. Mr. Attanasio is also experienced at the board level, serving on several non-profit national and regional boards.

 

Jeff Hopkins, Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Hopkins is Vice President of Engineering for iMedX.  He leads all development and QA initiatives at iMedX.  Prior to joining iMedX, Mr. Hopkins held senior positions at Nuance, Dictaphone, L&H, and Inso Corporation. For approximately 25 years, Mr. Hopkins has worked in the field of natural language processing, working on technologies such as grammar checking, spell checking, information retrieval, machine translation, medical fact extraction, and speech recognition.  He holds a patent for work done in the field of automated grammar checking, and is named as inventor on several patent applications in the field of medical fact extraction technology. Mr. Hopkins has held management positions for over 15 years, leading multi-site development groups in the development of core technologies and products.  He has significant experience managing offshore development.  Most recently, Mr. Hopkins worked at Nuance and Dictaphone, leading the development of enterprise-level medical transcription platforms incorporating speech recognition technology to improve transcriptionist productivity.

 

Chris Lally, Sr. Vice President of US Transcription Operations

Chris has over 20+ years experience in the Medical Transcription industry as a business owner/operator. Prior to joining iMedX, Chris held the position of Regional Operations Manager, VP of IT and Client Support, and Regional President for other national transcription services. Chris has a successful track record of contracting new business, managing the implementation process and delivering exceptional customer service to clients such as Tenet-Broadlane, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, HCA, CHS, and Humility of Mary Health Partners to name a few. Mr. Lally’s current responsibilities are to ensure that iMedX provides world-class, secure, on-time transcription services to the full spectrum of its clients.

 

Mahendra Singh Rawat, Sr. Vice President of India Operations

Mahendra leads the overseas transcription centers of iMedX.  Prior to iMedX, he worked with Transcend/Heartland and has helped build the company into a leading-edge, high-quality medical transcription provider servicing clients from state-of-the-art facilities in Bangalore, Chennai, and Delhi, India.  Mahendra has worked in the areas of executive management, operations, training, production, quality, and general administration within the organization and has developed a thorough understanding of all aspects of leading an overseas transcription production center. Prior to that, Mahendra worked with GE Capital India & Timex.  He holds a Masters degree in International Business and has also completed postgraduate work in Physics.”

 

Luther ("Brad") D. Runyon, Vice President of Government Accounts

Mr. Runyon has over 25 years of experience in the transcription and support services industry, including owning and operating a successful national medical and legal transcription service. Mr. Runyon also served his country in the United States Army as the Legal Administrator for The Judge Advocate General of the Army working in the Pentagon. He joined the iMedX team in his current position in December 2009. Well-versed in transcription services platforms and transcription/proofing team building, Mr. Runyon is responsible for program-managing iMedX’s Government business as well as business development.

 

Kevin Ross, Vice President of Account Management

Mr. Ross has over 20 years of experience in the industry, with a long background in ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Vice President of Norcom Electronics Corporation, he was responsible for marketing, sales, and support of their dictation, transcription and speech recognition solutions. He co-invented the Norcom Voice Printer speech recognition system and shares a patent for the Norcom SRC-1 speech recognition coupler. He has been a guest speaker and panel member for various speech recognition discussions at the annual SpeechTek shows. Kevin is responsible for new business development and reseller relationships.

 

Art Erickson, Vice President, Sales for Hospital Solutions

Mr. Erickson brings over 20+ years of experience in the transcription industry to iMedX.  He started his sales career with Dictaphone Corporation and furthered his career with other nationwide medical transcription companies during this time.  His knowledge and expertise in medical transcription enables his consultative approach with healthcare facilities across the country, on how they can reduce costs and increase overall quality across the health system.  He has thorough knowledge of the different digital dictation systems on the market and HL-7 Integrations, and he has worked with a majority of the EMR vendors.  He has helped implement many transcription solutions. From large health systems to teaching hospitals to rural hospitals, he has been involved every step of the way in streamlining workflow and reducing cost.  Art is a great resource for knowledge and the leader of our Hospital Solutions group.

 

Patti Clements, Director of US Transcription Operations

An experienced and accomplished Operations Manager, Patti was employed by MedQuist prior to joining iMedX where she oversaw the implementation process for all new clients in her territory and directed their account management once implemented.  Patti provides strong customer service and support skills in implementation, technical and operational areas.  Patti has experience with facilities ranging from small clinical environments up to 650 plus bed acute care facilities. Patti is responsible for managing the Customer Services  and US transcription operations for iMedX.

 

Christabel (“Khryss”) Campos, Director, Global Quality

Khryss is responsible for overseeing the quality management/compliance for iMedX organizationally in both the US and India. Khryss has 22 years of solid experience in medical transcription, training, and quality management.  She has significant experience managing a quality team responsible for developing quality metrics for both offshore and onshore production facilities. Prior to joining iMedX, Khryss held the position of Director of Quality & Compliance, Division Manager, Production Manager and Trainer with other national MT companies.
