Requirements
Successful candidates must:
-- Have a minimum of two years acute care transcription experience or three years of radiology transcription experience
-- Successful completion of a accredited Medical Transcription school such as M-TEC
-- Demonstrate a high level of medical knowledge on a written exam
-- Demonstrate transcription mastery in a skills test
-- Knowledge of productivity-enhancement tools and word expansion programs are preferred
-- Familiarity with home PC use, internet protocols, and web-based communications
